This month marked the birthday of one of Black America’s greatest leaders, Malcolm X, and the appointment of a new president to one of its oldest organizations, the NAACP. NewsOne seized the moment to head out into the streets of Harlem on Malcolm X’s birthday to ask everyday folks for their thoughts on the state of black leadership. Watch the latest in our “On the Corner” series.

And let us know what you think. Where have all the leaders in the Black community gone? Are there leaders in the Black community today? Does the Black community need leadership? If so, how do we encourage leadership in the black community?
