Dallas, TX (BlackNews.com) – As the economy continues its sluggish recovery, and with unemployment topping 9.7%, many people, especially minorities, have had to find alternative means to support themselves. Etiquette and social graces workshops specifically geared to the young people living in urban communities have been quietly on the rise as the lure of additional income and becoming your own boss takes root with women and men across the nation.
NAUEP, National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals, is a newly launched company that has taken over the etiquette divisions of UrbanGirlz Inc. and UrbanGentz Inc. of Urban Girlz national. “NAUEP has experienced a 50% rise in applications for etiquette certifications,” says Trenette Wilson, President of NAUEP. “We have seen this type of phenomenal growth because we serve a dual purpose – we service a real need in the community of fostering and nurturing self esteem through social etiquette training and we help provide a means of earning additional income.”
