Nipsey Hussle‘s memorial service was on Thursday, April 11 in Los Angeles and now there is reported audio of LAPD making disgusting comments about the rapper’s mother and father. The LAPD is trying to do damage control.

The rapper The Game posted the audio on his IG page, writing, “Audio of what seems to be LAPD officers intercepted on police radio & caught disrespecting Nips parents, his home-going & celebration SMFH.”
One alleged officer says the slain rapper’s mother “looks like a man and his father looks like a female, go figure.”
Another possible officer is heard saying, “What they should’ve done after the funeral is drove the motherf***er and put him in the ground before he starts stinking up the place.”
The LAPD told The Blast they are “investigating” and they “believe it is not their officers on the tape for several reasons. We’re told LAPD broadcasts on a digital frequency, and the audio in question appears to be analog.”
That said, “Even though police are fairly certain it’s not their officers on the audio, they have not completely ruled it out, and therefore are continuing to investigate the situation.”
Let’s hope they get to the bottom of it expeditiously.
Nonetheless, Hussle’s parents will not be swayed by this foolishness. Even before the service, his mother Angelique Smith posted a beautiful message to everyone mourning the loss of her son.
Smith said,” When you live your life and you have God on your side. When God dwells inside of you, there is no fear. Everything is in perfect, everything is in the divine perfect order of our creator. I have perfect peace and I have strength and I want to lift you up. Please, do not stay down. Do not stay stuck. Do not mourn because Nipsey is great.”
She continued, “And now he is even greater because he has no bounds in no limits. His energy is everywhere. He’s there with you now and he’s here with me now. Please be encouraged.”

The man accused of shooting Hussle is 29-year-old Eric Holder. He was arrested in Bellflower, California, which is located in southeast Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police Chief Michel Moore implied there was a feud between Hussle and Holder. He “declined to elaborate on the feud between the two, saying he didn’t want to jeopardize any potential prosecution, but he said the suspect approached Nipsey and others multiple times, engaging them in conversation,” CNN.com reported. Moore did say the dispute does not appear gang-related.
