Former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was listed to speak at the Social Conservative Police Conference, organized by the Family Police Alliance, a right-wing organization with extreme views.

A judge gave disgraced lawyer and convicted extortionist Michael Avenatti the kind of lenient prison sentence that Black defendants who are guilty of doing less rarely if ever receive.

Conspicuously missing from the commutation of Kwame Kilpatrick's prison sentence was any mention of the disgraced former Detroit mayor's letter praising Trump and begging for mercy.
