Urban One Honors 2021

Sponsored by Verizon, this year’s Urban One Honors is recognizing “Women Leading the Change” in Black communities across the country.

The 2021 Urban One Honors highlights extraordinary contributions of women that have led to impactful change within the Black community like “Hometown Shero ” Fire Chief Tiffany D. Green.

Joia A. Crear-Perry, MD, FACOG is a physician, policy expert, thought leader and advocate for transformational justice among those leading the charge and demand for Back women and birthing people to receive fair and equitable healthcare here in the U.S. and in countries around the globe.

This year’s Urban One Honors is celebrating women leading change in our communities and recognizing “Hometown Sheroes” like Renee Mahaffey Harris, an advocate for the underserved and marginalized populations in the greater Cincinnati area.
