Ken Paxton’s victory over incumbent Sen. John Cornyn has the unintended effect of making Texas’ Senate race actually competitive for Democrats.

President Donald Trump may have hurt the GOP’s midterm prospects by endorsing the scandal-prone Ken Paxton in Texas’ primary runoff election.

Despite him being deeply unpopular and exacerbating the cost-of-living crisis, Republicans are still all about President Donald Trump.

Virginia’s ruling comes as several Red states have moved to redraw their maps in the wake of the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act.

The new map would divide Shelby County, Tennessee’s lone majority-Black district that includes the city of Memphis, into three separate districts.

Apparently, President Donald Trump’s endorsement carries more weight than state legislators doing what their constituents want in Indiana.

House Republicans don't even seem to like each other all that much, and many of them aren't too thrilled with their House majority speaker, Rep. Mike Johnson.

The GOP's complex relationship with Black Americans, from early civil rights to recent controversies over race and identity.

The four Black Republican members of the House are on their way out the door, and Sen. Tim Scott will be the only Black GOP member left.

The ruling came on the same day as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis revealed a congressional map that could give Republicans four new House seats.

Should voters approve the amendment, the Virginia state legislature will pass a map that adds four new House seats for Democrats.

The law, signed by Ron DeSantis on Monday, has already come under scrutiny by free speech advocacy groups, who believe it will have a chilling effect on education in Florida.
