The only effective way fools like Hannity and O’Reilly could deal with him was to continuously cut him off…I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did. This dude was brilliant, unwavering, and could not be matched intellectually or intelligently. (I know that might not sound like much when you’re up against Sean Hannity and BIll O’OReilly) Whenever I saw him, it was always more dealing with Black issues more so than politics. @A, Yes I do believe that Alan Combs is a liberal. I listen to his radio program every night. He’s always defending blacks and other minorities on his talk show and defending President Obama’s Policies. I Believe He got so fed up with hannity and getting cut from screen time that he quit. God’s Chosen. I will be the first to admit, that i’m not that familiar with most of these pundits. In my opinion, they are 95% entertainment 4% shock value and 1% substance. I just did some quick research on him, and apparently he does consider himself a Liberal, but there was an article written about him in USA Today where he called himself a “moderate” which had some of his Liberal cronies claiming he is not a true Liberal. This is too bad. The Doctor regularly handed Bill O’Reilly his butt in debate. Its too bad that the mass media, not just Fox, but the mass media in general seems to be eliminating people that don’t share that networks particular ideological views. These networks are propaganda machines, and when you get someone in there that makes a strong counter argument against the message that media outlet is trying to convey, its only a matter of time. Look at Hannity & Coombs. I can’t stomach viewing FOX NEWS at all. Fair and balanced???? what a joke that is. More likely than not anything that is aired on that channel is going to appeal to the ultra conservative viewer. I don’t waste time looking at the channel EVER. It’s more of the same thing day in, day out. And since Obama has taken office it has gotten increasingly worse. I am finding these days that mainstream media in general are more into sensationalism than they are anything else. People like Beck, Limbaugh, etc. have nothing else better to do than to inject into people’s minds the negative. I can’t and won’t listen, watch, or support them. See, in watching the channel you help to sustain their ratings. I’d rather not participate in my own destruction.

Now, this whole story may be as true as a sunrise, but I personally find it VERY odd that the story has yet to appear on ANY credible news show, opinion or otherwise. BP has run this thing a couple of times and have not given any information except original reports from Huffington Post, Think Progress and other liberal blogs, all with an axe to grind.

The whiners all complain that Fox is “unfair and unbalanced”, yet their faves have ignored the story. Maybe Fox IS not fair and balanced, but at least they are COMPLETE. They report issues that the fringe media ignores (ACORN, SEIU, Tea Parties, Protests on the mall, Town hall, Jeremiah Wright, etc). Fox is also the only network that has liberals AND conservatives in prominent positions on air.

If Fox DID fire Hill, and are not reporting it as they well should have, then I criticize them as well as I do Charlie Gibson, who declared he didn’t KNOW about the mess at ACORN.

But for MY money, I will withold judgment until I can get the information from someone who is credible. That’s gonna be hard to do, but I wonder what it will be like IF it turns out that the whole story is a HOAX or that Hill was fired for IMPROPER CONDUCT.

Yes, O’Reilly pulls out that cone hoodie he keeps under his news desk every now and then.
I actually watched the segments where Dr. Hill participated in a panel discussion on the O’Reilly Factor. The man is EXTREMELY educated. He has a PHD AND he is a professor! He is every racist conservative newscaster’s nightmare! Sure O’Reilly was kidding around with him every now and then to make Dr. Hill “think” O’Reilly and his racist entourage (minus the Uncle Ben Juan Willams) are “down with him”. But behind his back O’Reilly and his crew were scheming to get rid of him as soon as they could.

I laughed at the story at first because of the trifling absurdity of the whole thing! What happened to Dr. Hill also happens in Corporate America as well. These type of conservative white folks live to belittle even the slightest intelligent Black person in these lines of work. The fact that they were too coward to inform Dr. Hill that he was fired to his face was nothing short of unprofessional and simply dumb. The man had to learn of his firing through Google? If I was Dr. Hill I’d sue Fox. In fact, every Black guest who ever appeared on O’Reilly’s show, Hannity, Beck should slap a class action civil suit on the clowns in addition to the network. I work in the corporate world myself, with much less credentials then Dr. Hill, and I can tell you for a fact, they are scared of an intellectual black man who knows how to carry himself and defend himself well with words.

Blacks fear nothing and NO ONE. I watch it once a week and try to watch at least one Circus of Hannity or O’Reilly for a laugh or two, before my ulcers start to boil up and I have to turn the channel to settle myself down with a dose of reality from a show like Family Guy, which has far more educational value than their morning show.
